  1. I was under the impression the Blair Holt act was pretty much buried. Although the general opinion is that it will never make it out of committee I myself am getting sick of this. I don't even own a gun. I can only assume they are too stupid or blind with grief to realize what passing that type of law means. How they are not just giving up one right but also placing the yokes around their own necks. I learned to shoot at an early age at a family friend's farm and I've always known that death is dealt by the person not the tool. What's next if this passes? Will they license hammers to adults only after registration with the ATF? Plenty of hammer murders in the US. Are we going to end up like England were using a weapon to protect yourself gets you years in jail while they decide if you could have nicely talked the thieves and murderers to leave you alone and only take your property? Heck they even put you in jail if someone you spoke to harshly dies of a heart attack 8 hours later.
It normally takes a lot for me to get upset, disturbed, or angry but lately I have been unable to keep my peace because of the lunacy going on in the world. Anyhow his final comment is also in line with backwoods home writer John Silviera. They also have excellent posts by Massad Ayoob.
